Meet Joseph, one of our FAVORITE 9-year-olds of all time!
At the age of 2.5, Joseph’s speech started to regress. Over time, he became completely non-verbal. Over the years, his incredible parents have been the best advocates for him, searching high and low for answers and finding ways to help him thrive.
Through online research, Joseph’s mom started to read about how the Nervous System plays such an important role in speech, coordination, sleep, tone, and more. That’s when they found Perfect by Design.
Over the past few months, Joseph’s family has remained consistent in his care plan and they have noticed big wins in his day to day life.
Joseph is starting to communicate more, has more speech production, improved tone and coordination, and is calmer and more relaxed. Joseph tells mom that he loves his adjustments and feels relaxed again.
In his words, Joseph says “I don’t feel like I’m running, I feel relaxed now.”
His Mom’s words resonate with us so much when she says “Autism doesn’t define him. We learn something new every day. We trust that we are the right people to support him on this journey”
Cue the tears.
