West Cobb Incident Updates

As many of you are already aware, on Friday, January 12th a local man had a medical emergency causing him to lose control of his vehicle in front of our office building. Subsequently, he crashed into the front of our West Cobb location, damaging the front of the building and hitting our main water line. Due to not being able to cut off the water, our entire building flooded, causing extensive water damage in every room. Although we are devastated to see our family business damaged, we are ultimately just so grateful that the man is ok and no one was present in our office at the time of the incident. 

Sadly the damage and flooding will mean our office will be unusable for a few weeks as we will be getting everything dried out, replacing windows and drywall, and installing new flooring throughout the building.

A local chiropractor and friend had no hesitation in allowing us to use his office space during his off hours so we can maintain a fairly normal schedule while we do renovations. Therefore, all appointments for at least the next few weeks will be at his office, just 1 mile (3 minutes) down the road from our current space.

Due to working around his open hours, a few of our afternoons will be altered. We will be opening an extra weekday and adding Saturday slots to accommodate any patients who need to move their appointments.

Our new office hours are as following:

Monday: 2:30-6:30 (unchanged)
Tuesday: 9am - 12pm only (NO AFTERNOON HOURS)
Wednesday: 3pm- 6pm (unchanged)
Thursday: 9am- 12pm only (NO AFTERNOON HOURS)
Friday: 2:30-6:30 pm (NEW ADDED HOURS)
Saturday: 9am-12pm (EXTRA SLOTS ADDED)

If you have a regularly scheduled appointment on a day or time that has not been altered,  no changes will need to be made. You will keep your normal appointment time and just report to the new location. The only practice members who will need to find a new appointment time are those on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. 

We have updated SKED according to our open availability so you have access to change your own appointments as fits your needs and schedule. If you live in close proximity to our Smyrna location and would like to be accommodated during their open hours, we are happy to help you adjust your appointments to be there during our renovation time. You are able to view those open time slots and hours through SKED.

Our team will be contacting anyone who has not moved their own appointments on Monday morning as these changes will happen right away. It would help us exponentially for anyone who has the ability to reschedule themselves via SKED to do so!

This location is right off Due West Road near the Brusters, sharing a plaza with an orthodontist. There will be a sign right out front to let you know you’re in the right place.

Of course our docs and team will remain the same, just in a new environment. We will still serve you with smiling faces, healing adjustments, the classic fruit bowl, and plenty of stickers to go around.

We appreciate all of the love, prayers, and understanding as we navigate this unexpected change and renovation. This isn’t exactly what we had in mind when we told Mr. Jamie to touch up the paint but it’ll work.
